Magnificent and very large Aitos statue from the island of Timor in the shape of a column and in carved wood mounted on a metal support.This fabulous statue is made of red wood and carved by hand originally from Timor Island in Indonesia and dating back about fifty years, these statues are erected at the entrance of houses under construction during traditional rites.
They thus bless the house and its inhabitants and embody the power of the gods or of Nature.
