In 1987, ESTER & ERIK began producing dipped candles with the intent of adhering to proud Danish traditions by making candles of the highest caliber for a select group of customers. The people behind the company have pledged to uphold Denmark's long and proud heritage in making top-notch candles, which they have been doing for 35 years. With years of market exposure and constant evolution, ESTER & ERIK established the concept of further developing and refining traditional candle-making techniques while trying to use the same raw materials to focus on resulting in top-quality candles with the finest craft skills.

ESTER & ERIK began creating candles with fascinating new surfaces, which include lacquer, to come up with new and enhanced candle-making methods. The candles are available in 92 distinct hues and the founders use durable dyes that do not fade in sunlight. The candles are hand packed in FSC-certified packaging.
