From Cannes to Saint Petersburg, and from dreamy residences in New York and Moscow to grand interiors like the Four Seasons and the Principe di Savoia, Arte Veneziana speaks an international language of light, craftsmanship, and emotion. Amid this heritage, Leo De Carlo emerges as one of Venice’s most distinctive contemporary voices. Born in 1972, De Carlo’s creative roots are deeply anchored in the lagoon city — a place that has long blurred the line between water and architecture, craft and art. After earning his degree in Industrial Design from the Milan Polytechnic, he honed his craft in Paris under the mentorship of Philippe Starck, working across furniture, lighting, and interiors.
